Dr. Kai Lin is a radar systems engineer working in the field of FMCW radar for 18 years. He has designed and developed several radar systems, including ground-penetrating radar, imaging radar for tactical UAV, and automotive radar. Besides designing traditional RF components and modules, he works on the integration of digital technology with RF circuits. Dr. Lin received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering at UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) in 2006. During his Ph.D. program between 2002 and 2006, Dr. Lin has developed the world’s first leakage canceller in Ka-band for monostatic FMCW radar.
